Biography


Born in Florence in 1926, Boni studied at the "Liceo Artistico" in Florence and has lived in Paris since 1954. Boni is both a painter, sculptor and printmaker. He creates relief prints or metal reliefs, as well as sculptures in collaboration with architects for the Renault Automobile Factory and others.

"Boni today, creates large compositions of dramatic character based on a contrast of full and empty, exact and blurred, shadow and light. These works are a testimony to his inexhaustible imagination." (Herta Wescher)

Boni has had 28 private exhibitions in Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Canada and the United States, including Musée Picasso, Antibes; Galleria Ciranna, Milan; Galerie Lucie Weill, Paris; Salons of Realities Nouvelles, Paris;Salons Mai, Paris.
